The choice of sustainability

Gerflor flooring

As we become more conscious of how our actions impact on the finite resources of the world we should look to consider and minimise our carbon footprint, both from our home and our design purchases.

One of the best ways is to offer products that last a long time and preserve our planet’s resources.

Gerflor highly values these truly sustainable practices and has established 11 essential guidelines based on eco-design criteria. These include responsible purchasing and reuse of raw materials, adhesive free products, and reductions in VOC compounds. By having no VOC’s in laying the flooring it gives vast improvements in room air quality, a major consideration seeing as we spend up to 90% of time indoors.
